Looks like no one told Hasbro that the Wolverine toys are all going on clearance..

This "Deluxe" (ie; overpriced) series is supposedly coming out - at a higher price point with added crap like Weaon X's fishtank (which at least makes sense) and Deapool's Ridiculously Giant Gun and Sabertooth's unarticulated Pal, The Blob!

Oviously, these will never be released, unless Wal-Mart in Canada accidentally signs for the wrong box from China.

Nice ad from the latest issue of Diamond Previews seems to indicate that the next wave of Marvel Legends 2-packs are out or at least “here”. Where is here? Because these things are never coming out. Is this a Jesse Falcon quote?

More likely this is wishful thinking on the part of Diamond who were supposed to have these as a co-exclusive with TRU, until a recent Hasbro “interview/PR exercise in saying nothing in as many words possible while still trying to maintain an air of caring about the suckers, oops, I mean FANS who are baffled by our insistence on destroying a once mighty brand” revealed that they were searching for another retail partner.

Which means that TRU has abandoned these.

TRU.

They brought in the pewter Wolverine figure.

That’s how badly Hasbro has clusterfucked this line.

I could sell TRU all my memories of banging Phoebe Cates in her heyday on the back of a unicorn flying through Asgard and they’d be happy to pay, but Hasbro can’t sell ‘em Marvel Legends.

Sideshow 1:6 Vader Pics Including Size Comparison To Medicom Vader

A lucky Sideshow contest winner scored a production sample Vader figure and has posted some great photos, including a picture with the earlier Medicom Vader figure. Medicom has taken considerable criticism lately for the size of their figures (closer to 11" than 12") and the difference between the 14" Sideshow Vader and the Medicom version is pretty staggering.

That said, the Medicom sculpt still looks more screen accurate to me, making this an okay Sideshow figure, but a fail overall, especially as the Medicom figure had been out for at least a year and Sideshow knew what they had to beat.

Which begs the question, what the hell is going at Sideshow these days? Their prices go up as the quality of their output goes down. Meanwhile Hot Toys is doing amazing work at comparable prices.

I greet new Sideshow figures with the same enthusiasm I have for new naked Britney Spears pictures; sure, I'll look, but I've seen it all before and there's a strong likelihood that what I'll see will really gross me out.

Then I'll reminisce about the pre-Fed days and try to cleanse my pallet with some Megan Fox shots or even a Kelly Clarkson upskirt pic to get those horrible images out of my head!!!
